I called in advance to say I needed a new shock absorber so it could be ordered in. The garage didn't order it until my car arrived and I was without my vehicle for over a week. This was disappointing.
Car picked up timeously but when returned, alleged to have been cleaned but not impressed with the job, and the rear mats were put back upside down.
I received a phone call on the Thursday evening to confirm my car was ready for collection and I notified BMW I'd collect in the morning. When I arrived my car wasn't ready for collection which resulted in me being late for work.
Several issues were reported and only the most obvious was rectified. I said one would require the car to be driven on the motorway, which is close to the garage, but they did not do this & now I've to take the car back.
On this occasion they did manage to fix the problem the car was in for, however this was the third time the car had been in for the same issue.
A routine service with an additional query on the morning which I was hoping that after having the car for a full day, a plan to remediate would be arranged, but sadly not, as I have to book back into have it looked at again. (Two days work).
The assistant that dealt with me was excellent. Yvonne was new to Douglas Park but you could tell she has years of experience. She made me feel welcome & comfortable. Huge difference from one of my previous visit. Thank you Yvonne your an asset.
Only aspect I don't like is that there is longer waiting time to be attended to.

Appointment arranged with ease. Very pleasant staff who gave the impression they new what they were talking about. The work was carried out while I waited and there were no delays. It was all made very straightforward.

The staff could have easily got me a better deal but had to wait for me to go and negotiate with another bmw dealer to cancel the paper work and remake a deal which wasn't all that.

No issues, and was able to plan next appointment with staff after service.
It took too long, nearly 4 weeks, for a rather simple part to be in stock and fitted. Courtesy car provided but initially the car was not remotely similar to my own car. After 2 weeks I requested a more similar vehicle to mine, at least an automatic.
On time, all done as requested, and good communication.
Always good service and friendly staff.

Would have liked a bit more information about what was needed done for the car before taking the car away. The wait was a bit long before and it would have been good for the car to brought to the door instead of walking in the rain to get the car.

Job has to refurbish a kerbed diamond cut alloy wheel. First attempt had several flaws. Had to take car back, rebook and return a 3rd time. I did receive a courtesy car as they had to keep my car for 3 days. Job was satisfactory in the end.

The service quality and personal attention were excellent but it was disappointing that a part that was required, admittedly only identified on the day, was not in stock resulting in my being unexpectedly without a car for an additional day.
Good communication and service requirements explained well Even the service manager Mark had time for a chat which makes you feel confident about choosing BMW and Douglas Park.

My one criticism is when Douglas park come to pick up my car i was asked to sign the body inspection document without carrying out inspection I was informed this is common practice and is inspected when it get back to there garage
My wife's approved used vehicle was purchased in May 2019 and had only done about 1200 miles, informed by service department that the back discs are lipped and the front pads are very low at 4mm, the fact that this is picked up after a used approved.
There was problem with my booking which resulted in some problems at my work place as I got late and missed a meeting.
The mechanic - Brian (sorry if wrong name?) was great

It was a product recall. Car was collected aa arranged, I received a video of the car checks and the car was returned later the same day.
Only two issues with service. Near side wing mirror no longer tilts in reverse. It did do this before service. Also was told I had to deal with auto protect re alloy kerb issues. Have submitted claims but Auto protect do not progress claims at all!!
Occasion was a call-back by BMW and it appears that what was to be done was done with car off the road for a minimum time.
Service was satisfactory although there was quite a long wait between booking and the earliest date my car could be dealt with.
Service done at short notice quickly and efficiently. Refurbishment to my Alloys as the lacquer was beginning to come off and the staff members who did this amazing job cannot be thanked enough for such a great job.
The reason for recall was fully explained by the service manager and as stated the work was carried out promptly at a time that suited me.

I satisfy with the overall the service. However, the waiting area could be improve for more comfort since customer may need to wait at there for at least 1-2 hours for job to be done.
I dropped the car off the night before as I had been told that there was a good chance it would I get it back earlier than forecast, but it didn't happen. And I was informed that two of my tyres weren't runflats and they were. Otherwise it was fine.
Compared to other dealers, not competitive.
Recall job done as promised with a Vehicle Health Check thrown in.
Again the staff are helpfull and pleasant but my car is only a year old old and developed a rosd grinding noise they had the car in twice and gave me it back after 2 weeks approx and although they agree a noise was detected its still not fixed .
Service from start to finish was very professional
Very happy with my service was book in for getting my alloys fix and need a service done so they done them both at the same time and gave me a car to use in till my wheels where done and was very happy with the bmw convertible that i got to use

Most every time I am the service area I book in a waiting appointment. I enjoy having a coffee and a wander round the cars that are parked in the adjacent showroom area.
Given a seat in waiting atrea and any refreshment i wished ( non alcoholic ) Waited no time at all , lovely staff.

My car was in the garage from 8:00am until 4:00pm - I felt this was a long time given that the recall letter suggested it would take 2hrs! Even lunchtime would have been acceptable
Needed a new part for exhaust. Tried to charge me for it until I asked about it being covered under warranty and it was then removed from bill.

I would have preferred to have used the Service Centre at Hillington (less than 5km from my home) than travel across Glasgow to have a tyre changed. Sadly, that Service Centre no longer has a tyre fitter (except by appointment I presume?)
Damage valve installed three times. Twice I have been in the garage. I bough the car a month ago.
The vehicle was returned with dirty oily marks on the bonnet.
Actions/promises not followed through. Didn't actually drive an X3, demo X3 wasn't fuelled. Chose my new car from a list. Theme: it'll do.

I needed advice this time as there were several different models I wanted to consider. The Centre had an excellent range of new cars on show and the sales consultant was really helpful and thoroughly professional throughout.
As in my previous answer everything was flawless.
The whole experience was made so simple dealing with a very courteous and polite man.
